The brief for this student project was to create a leaflet (with related collateral materials) for the British Film Festival for five fairytale films to be exhibited during 2017. In developing this concept, I sought to capture an engaging and playful visual experience by creating a modern spin on classic fairytale symbology. For these purposes, I included eye catching, bold and colourful illustrations and drew on the use of layers, silhouettes and pop art. I also placed separate and proportionate focus on each silhouette, such that they could be used on a stand-alone basis within other materials, including on merchandise packaging, promotional products and on social media and via mobile Apps etc.
