The Cinema Museum

  • Alexandra Tsoi

For a university project, we were asked to create an “emotional response” to our time at the Cinema Museum in South London. The video was to be used in a campaign that was working to raise awareness and funding to keep the museum going. My team and I found most intrigue in the piano in the big hall. Music is so vital in cinema as it takes you on an emotional journey without forcing your hand. Our video was made to do this whilst also using a poem I wrote to tell a story. The music was composed by Chris Thomas, and directed by me.
