The Common Room

The Common Room is a blog where students can share and read stories about life at University. ​ As part of Unite Students digital transformation, The Common Room was entirely redesigned - from information architecture to a brand new UI. The Common Room was suffering from a poor navigation and an old style design. It was mandatory to rethink the whole user experience keeping in consideration the need for a mobile first design, a better navigation and categorisation of content and a separate section for localised articles, aimed at offering a more tailored experience to our customers based on geo localisation or browsing history. ​ My role involved UX and UI design, and communication with developers and key stakeholders.
