The End Is Nigh, is the inaugural group exhibition by Outside the Zone gallery. Showing a selection of artists that OTZ has exhibited with their public art program. The exhibition injects the fluid and impermanent nature of the city inside. Each of the artworks becomes a significant conversation between the artist and audience, rarely available in traditional exhibition spaces. Incorporating the original architecture of the space to communicate ideas from a critically optimistic and progressive standpoint; exploring art’s creative potential to change society through an open and inclusive dialogue. The artists in show include: Installation + Sculpture: Dani TagenPhotography: Othello de Souza HartleyPainting: Sam king, Jorge Luccas, Aurelie Freoua, FKULT, Sam KingMixed media: Snack collective, Beatrice Taylor The exhibition aim’s to extend the boundaries of curation whilst supporting the production of new work by emerging artists and contributing to the on going dialogue around contemporary issues and thought. Founded by Trix Mendez with guest curator Eduardo da Costa. Outside the Zone is dedicated to exploring the significance of London as a leading global art market through an exciting program of exhibitions and events.
