During my final year of university, I typeset and bound my dissertation about skin whitening culture and its socio-political influences from a Malaysian context.
The flexible mirror cover forces readers to be confronted with their own body image. It also plays on the title – The Fairest of Them All – which ties into the notion of narratives which I explored in a following graphic novel project.
