The Hatch Brand Identity for Brandon Trust

  • Kirsty MacLeod

During my time as Lead Designer for Leading Learning Disability Charity, Brandon Trust, my responsibilities largely involved refreshing, refining existing branding for their corporate identity or social enterprises or establishing brand identities from scratch for their enterprise launches. This project was for an entirely new enterprise that Brandon's social enterprise department was launching, and I was tasked with building the brand identity from scratch. Situated next door to a children’s playground, this Brandon Enterprise cafe serves quick bites to children and families, so we wanted it to look bold, youthful and easily digestible, to cater to its young audience. I independently built the brand identity concept from scratch, in a style which aimed to integrate the charity colour scheme with British summer- time and garden party themes, with retro styling, fun typography and food illustration, to create an eye-catching and vibrant presence.
