The Hive Rebranding

I worked closely with DBC Studio on this rebranding project. Having worked extensively with The Hive on design work in the past, I was able to help guide the direction of the new branding. I worked with DBC Studios from the ideas stage right through to the final stages and had input on the final designs.

As The Hive is an arts organisation with a hands on approach, it was important from the beginning that we incorporate this theme into the logo design. In order to do so I used paper cutting to come up with the logo design, which went on to be tweaked by DBC Studios and myself to reach the final logo design.
Working with a new local artist each time to design the front, it is possible to keep The Hive's tri-annual brochure fresh whilst incorporating the branding as seen below. This is also a good example of how the branding is used in practice.
