The Hoxton, Shepherds Bush | Bedroom Artwork Commission

〰 There’s a brand new Hoxton in town! Delighted to have worked on another amazing project with The Hoxton/Ennismore team to make two original artworks/prints to feature in the guest bedrooms. Also special shout out to Sterling Art Consultants for being so wonderful to work with too! The brief was to create some organic forms with earthy tones that were inspired by my previous work. Initially, I created nine sketches to start this commission which were then narrowed down to these two designs. I then created two original A4 paintings that I then scanned and converted into A3 prints. It takes a fair bit of effort to make a print - I needed to remove any dust/specks that sneak into the scan, colour match the original painting and then work out the specs for the printers. All worth it though, it was a fun and satisfying project. I worked with a great team of people and I love the end result - the prints look right at home in the new bedrooms.
