The Last of the London Races

'The Last of the London Races' was a project I undertook that aimed to tell the story of London's last greyhound racing track and the people associated with it.
Once there were over 30 racetracks in the capital and one by one they have all been forced to close for a variety of reasons.
While greyhound racing suffers from a relative image problem, the sport was a large part of London's working class culture for centuries. Instead of focusing on the sport itself, I hoped to tell the story of the punters, bookies and trainers that rely on this sport for a living.
