This brand identity was designed for a fictional event. I was tasked with designing the advertising, way-finding, logotype and tickets for a hypothetical art installation from the conceptual artist Mike Kelley. In this fictional exhibit, Mike Kelley would be showing his work “The City of Kandor”. This artwork is based on the fictional city of Superman’s planet Krypton. The city was shrunken and placed in a bell jar to protect it from the planets destruction and so the art installation depicts a shrunken, futuristic and alien city. I used the colours and shapes present in this artwork as a base for the rest of the identity.
