The Mission Lands

A photographic journey through San Francisco Mission district murals.
I visited San Francisco in April 2017, five friends, a huge car and a great roadtrip around California. We stayed in San Francisco for one week only and the Mission district was the first thing we wanted to see. You can really breath the Mexican influence there, the Latino culture, like nowhere else in San Francisco. It was a sunny day so the walls and fences were shining with their bright colours in the sunlight, I really loved those vivid and contrasted photos. Once back in (the pretty grey) London, I thought about designing a little magazine on the Mission, celebrating its colours and its history. My focus with this layout is definitely on the photos but was great mixing them with articles and San Franciscans quotes.
