The Nature of Warpath Inc. - Video Installation

For my second year of university, I directed, produced, wrote, edited and acted in a video installation with 50s style 3D elements, posing as a promotional brainwashing video by fictional company Warpath Inc., a malicious company who use data from Cambridge Analytica to keep the public angry but dormant. This installation was really inspired by Boomtown Fair, in its social commentary through fictitious company and characters. Presenting this message through an 'authentic' spokesperson, to promote anger but to do nothing with it. Intercutting this with real footage from a protest to simulate a takeover, making the audience question if the effects of the company are really in effect or not. While I am not too proud of the editing and execution of this idea, I learned a lot from this process - now when embarking on projects of this scale, I always make sure I form a team who are passionate about the idea and message.
