The new Porsche 911 Dakar. Sportmade

  • Elena Sánchez

The 911 Dakar was built to tell the world's greatest adventure: A homage to the 953 racing carthat won the rally in 1984. And If René Metge won the race with that modified Porsche, imagine what he could have done today with the new 911. We imagined it with L.A.-based visual effects artist Cache Bunny and took the fans on a mind-bending ride through Porsche's glorious history at the most brutal race ever. The film mixes actual footage from the race, shots, and effects and features a young René driving the 911 today and battling against time, obstacles, and even all the ghost Porsche models preceding this car on the heels. Hold tight to trip through and relive all the brand's iconic moments on this crazy drive, after all there's nothing more fun and exciting than competing against yourself.
