Presenting a new five-part film series “The Performers”, created in collaboration with GQ magazine. Documenting the pilgrimage of five influential men to unexpected places, each film reveals a personal source of inspiration that has shaped the protagonist’s vision. For Act 1, Bobby Gillespie, frontman of Primal Scream travels to Tangier, Morocco, wearing Gucci menswear by Alessandro Michele, and explores the life of writer and activist Jean Genet. In the film, the musician muses on the creative process of songwriting: "Normally the songs that are the hardest to write, are the songs that mean the most to other people."
