The Sun. Royal Potties.

A new baby was about to be born in the Royal household which meant little Prince George would have a rival, not just for the attention of his parents, but also for the attention of the British public and ultimately the throne. At the same time one of the biggest TV series on the planet, Game of Thrones, was gearing up for its 5th season. A combination of the two biggest cultural events of the year had to get noticed. Using potties as thrones wasn’t just a cheeky Sun pun, it was also a reference to the fact that Royal parents have to deal with the same things all the other parents in the country have to deal with, including the pain of potty training.
