The Tale of the Two-Headed Monster

  • Luke Bird

In The Tale of the Two-Headed Monster, I created a double-sided concertina book that contains a satirical look at how young adults view Theresa May and the whole Brexit situation, representing more than one side to May. On one hand, a sympathetic, frail lady and on the other a horrible, wrong-doing hag which was inspired by interviews with my target audience. The inspiration of old fairy tales books is seen within the outcome itself. From the golden foil like cover on the packaging, to the intricate type work, to the blackwork illustrations. Using the right processes and styles where appropriate to create a final product suited for the audience.
