Speculative Design Fiction - Data Privacy

In order to raise debate around data privacy while positioning The Telegraph at the centre of technology intelligence, a speculative design fiction was conceptualised. The theme, smart gadgets, led to a speculation about smart toilets and it implication on intimate data. The film, set in the near future, where companies own private data collected from employees and their professional success and failure is dependent on the smart toilet data.

To further encourage conversations around data privacy, posters and outdoor assets will be displayed with the sign off "Data doesn't lie". Gadgets are close to us and constantly collecting data that we do not give too much notice to. The posters will raise the question about who owns this data and what if this private data was accessible to others.
