The Thierry Noir Academy of Art

Protein partnered with Thierry Noir, one of the world’s most recognisable street artists, for his first exhibition in years. The exhibition was in aid of the children's charity, The Kids Network, and throughout August Thierry painted murals with the kids around Shoreditch culminating in a 4 day exhibition at Protein Studios. Having illegally painted over 5 miles of the Berlin Wall during the Cold War, Thierry Noir’s colourful motifs, old lines and timeless visual language have become a symbol of youth culture. It has been amazing to see them back in Shoreditch again!
