Marc Burville-Riley has worked on many books for us, creating both innovative cover designs and imaginative inside spreads. He’s the go-to guy when we’re commissioning a particularly challenging cover design that presents no immediate solution, as he comes up with fantastic visual ideas that tie to the book’s content and are commercial in approach. On inside design, he’s especially good at laying out texts with a more demanding brief, working with us on ‘letters books’ such as The Timewaster Letters and the integrated newspaper articles/running commentary humour book by Dave Spikey, He Took My Kidney, Then Broke My Heart. In addition to his excellent design skills, Marc is also a joy to work with – fun, willing to the extra mile, and hard-working.
