The Traktor Cookery was born as 'The Traktor Cookery School' in 2012 in a small cooking school right between the Dylan and Felix Meritis, the two main conference locations of Amsterdam Dance Event. Bringing together what many long knew to be a match made in heaven - food and music - the event quickly became one of the music community's favorite places to meet, not only throughout the conference but the year. The event's aim was to create a space for artists to show off their cooking skills in a family-like, relaxed environment and invite friends and associates along as well as providing a space for conversations to take place - from product advice over networking conversations to meetings. The Cookery has hosted artists and music industry professionals and included the likes of Richie Hawtin, Kerri Chandler, Pan-Pot, Drumcell, Heidi, Carl Craig, Matthew Dear, DJ Craze, Chris Liebing, Pete Tong, Kevin Saunderson, Sasha, Tijana T, Soulection, EatsEverything, and many more.
