The idea behind this creation was a combination of wanting to create a design, which when stands alone would be strong and purposeful yet enhanced with a strong foundation of typography. I wanted to create something symbolic to me, something that displays my ambition and drive to always push myself beyond the limits. To portray this motion I had to communicate a sense of independence yet being able to adapt to any surroundings therefore the concept of the deer was created and how the deer evolves in nature.
The design itself was hand-crafted together to create a complicated 3D sculpture. For the typographic effect, I combined significant words/quotes relating to my motivation with sleek detailed type design. The finishing touches were a combination of spray-paint and crafting a frame to have a contemporary look, bringing the design to be present in a modern world.
