The Women’s Foundation Hong Kong - Event Marketing & Fundraising Strategy

Objectives - Meet the event fundraising target of HKD$1,200,000 (USD$150,000) for the Annual 2018 Fundraising Gala Dinner via table sales, silent auction and pledge donations. - Highlight the work of The Women’s Foundation and its initiatives. - Secure sponsors and prize donations to encourage bids and donations. - Attract engaged c-suite level attendees and brand ambassadors within the Hong Kong’s community. Solution - Devised an event marketing strategy around the annual International Women's Day campaign for the the annual fundraising gala. - Worked with the internal designer and interns to roll-out creative assets including an event programme, backdrops, EDM templates and social media images and videos. - Appointed Givergy, an online fundraising platform to run a live auctions and facilitate pledge donations during the event via tablets placed on tables. - Worked with prominent past and new sponsors to secure high-net worth prizes. - Briefed social media team, photographers and videographers on the night of the event. Results - Exceeded the overall fundraising target by 5%. - Secured media and prize sponsors which included Tatler, Bloomberg, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Kate Spade, Lancome and the Marriott Group. - Produced event video content from c-suite members from Barclays, HSBC, KPMG and more. - Highlighted the work of The Women’s Foundation through creative materials circulated before, during and post-event, with coverage in Tatler Hong Kong.
