We partnered, once again, with The World’s 50 Best, the leading guide to the finest restaurants in the world. After working with them on the ‘50 Hours In…’ series, we flew to Singapore to film a profile piece on Chef André Chiang to celebrate him recently being given Asia’s lifetime achievement award.
We spent a day with Chef André in his restaurant in central Singapore. It was a poignant time for the chef, as he had recently made the unexpected decision to close his restaurant down and move back to his home country of Taiwan. The interview with him took on a storytelling form, with André telling the story of the restaurant and his passion for food.
The final film was played at The World’s 50 Best awards ceremony, to celebrate the work and achievements of Chef André. Through the use of emotive music and poignant shots of the restaurant, we created a piece that would engage audiences at the award show and on The World’s 50 Best’s social channels.
