Thickstrings x Sunnamusk

Commissioned by Sunnamusk London, Thick Strings pictures were tasked with creating three images to represent the fragrance house’s line of scents. Our initial conversations with the brand made it clear that these images had to be an ode to Islamic architecture and create, in visuals, the sense of their expertly crafted Arabian scents. Conjuring images of not only spice filled aromas, but also the freshness captured in some of their signature fragrances. The following images used one modular set, rearranged and placed in and out of our custom built water tank. Designed to allude to an imagined large scale bath house set somewhere in the Middle East. Each element of the build was created by hand- from the detailed tile work in the background, to the heads and feet of each column.
