I am so excited to have just launched my new music publication! We look at public performance of musicality, collective singing and genres enmeshed with today’s sound. Where did it come from? What does it mean now? We investigate self-expression and the ancestral voices remaining in today’s commercialised and saturated music industry. The publication is run by writers, multi-disciplinary artists and (unofficial) musical anthropologists, Rebecca W Morris and Lydia Beardmore.
