My research project at TIAFI, a grassroots NGO in Turkey, focused on the essential role of access to education in fostering social inclusion and building social capital, particularly for Syrian refugees. Education is not only a fundamental right but also a tool that empowers communities to rise out of adversity. My work explored how public relations can facilitate the inclusion of marginalized groups by strengthening communal relationships between NGOs, local authorities, and the communities they serve. Education is crucial for both social mobility and community cohesion. The project demonstrated that public relations strategies, when employed effectively, can help build social capital. This, in turn, increases opportunities for inclusion, particularly for refugees struggling to adapt to new environments
