Tisch MS Gala 2019

  • Klara Blazek

I was hired by The Tisch MS Research Center of New York for a second year to create their visual identity and collateral for their annual gala fundraiser. I designed a new visual direction that was different, very still felt cohesive with the previous year's design. I applied it across all of the collateral, which consisted of save the dates, invitations, RSVP cards, program booklets, auction booklets, menus, table numbers, signage, and event screens.

The gala took place in the Museum of Natural History in New York City. The large dioramas encircling the room as well as the large whale hanging from the ceiling, made the guests feel as if they were under the sea. Because of this, I used blues, greens, and purples as well as the abstract shapes of a jellyfish to create this year's visual identity.
