'Too Many Man : Women of Grime' Self-published Photo-book

"Too Many Man: Women of Grime" is a documentary photography project and photo-book, self-published in March 2019, which showcases the MCs, DJs, producers, radio presenters, musicians, journalists, managers and videographers in the scene. The project explores how women have helped shaped grime, and been inspired by the genre over the years. Grime has always been a heavily male-dominated scene, with women being less visible than their male counterparts, often struggling to get the exposure and recognition they deserve. Despite the genre's global reach, women still remain the minority. When grime is mentioned MC's such as Skepta and Stormzy spring to mind, some may have heard of Lady Leshurr, but few know of other women in the scene. This project gives the women of grime a platform to share their stories and experiences.
