Two Halves

Two halves of the same man. The first is a pageantry of black masculinity. A mandatory need from society, an expectation thrusted upon black men without acknowledging their consent. A black man has to brave, angry and tough. The second photo offers the viewer the chance to see his fragility. A man tired and drained from society's expectations. A man yearning to be free.
