How a Parkinsonian's handwriting changed the way people see these patients' capabilities.
We have transformed the handwriting of Sonia—a former teacher who suffers from Parkinson's—into the Sonia Script font. Her calligraphy was used to spread knowledge once again, this time about the disease.
The typeface can be downloaded and used to send support messages through social media and to publish posters in a virtual gallery, reaching more than 126 million people.
