Visualising Typography was a brief in which I had to create a piece of work based on a song. I chose Codex by Radiohead and created a small newsprint booklet that displayed how the song made mefeel and how the music moved through typography alone.
A lot of the work I create is normally clean cut so this project was one I felt I could really lose control of working within guidelines and let go. I used warping techniques within Photoshop and then transferred it through to InDesign for the final booklet design. The final book was printed onto newsprint and handstitched with black thread to keep the ongoing monochrome theme I had created for this project.
