zandi projekt was commissioned to design the visual identity for an exhibition for ual's awarding body and produce a range of supporting marketing collateral, including flyers for print and digital distribution, E-invitations for the private and public view, and exhibition posters and printed exhibition catalogues. The awarding body was keen for the graphic designer to put their creative stamp on the project, as long as it adhered to ual's brand guidelines.
Essential forms were reassembled throughout the visual language to convey the youthful energy and experimentation that was apparent in the student's work. The key visual was comprised of basic elements found within the logo. The selective colours signifying creative freedom, education, etc. were merged revealing the chaos of the design process, echoing the transition from inspirations to an outcomes clarity. Furthermore, the digital representation of the logo breaks down each of these components in sequence.
