The Tate Lates are Uniqlo sponsored activations hosting emerging and established DJs alongside world-class exhibitions, pop-up talks, playful artistic installations and workshops on the last Friday of every month. My Role - Production & Events Manager - Representing and leading at logistics & implementation meetings attended by PR, marketing, digital, the client, security and food and beverage departments to plan each monthly event - Working with the brand to conceive the monthly concept, produce the activations and promote Uniqlo - Working with press and marketing to produce all event copy and signage - Representing and leading the pre production and post production meetings to deliver the project around a working gallery schedule - Production manage the install of the activations & a team of volunteers and complete de rig - Book and liaise with artists and musicians to execute their activations (many with complex digital and AV requirements) - Event manage the delivery of the event to 10,000-15,000 people visiting in a 4 hour window - Work closely with Tate Entertaining to deign a special offer of cocktails and pop up food and beverage offers to visitors - Liaise and brief visitor experience, gallery facilities, security, health & safety and cleaning contractors to ensure the event is delivered in a safe & effective way maintaining the Tate brand and ethos
