University Church of St Mary the Virgin, Oxford

A heritage lottery funded (HLF) project for St Mary’s Church in Oxford. Interpretation was added into the church in ways which were unobtrusive, all graphic could be removed, or turned on/off.

A brand identity was created for the church that celebrated it’s history and was used in conjunction with images taken from a volunteer restoration project.

Three trail books were designed:

An interactive, cut-out book for families offering generic facts about how churches are structured as well as specific details relating to St Mary’s.

Secondly a book which celebrated the educational history of the church, celebrating the many famous students,

The third book focused on the religious feats and community strength.
