A room was transformed into a cathedral of light, allowing the visitor to become the focus and protagonist of the installation. Within the space, the person was transported from reality into a digital self, and dramatized as a repeating artwork on the walls. At the same time, the projections were distorted and reactive to individual sound waves.
Created by Yves Peitzner and mayer+empl for the UNPAINTED art fair in Munich, the installation was a digital interpretation of analog art, based on the works of pop art icon Andy Warhol.
