Silk sampling

I wanted to get used to sewing with silk, so I created 3 silk dresses and a silk Top. Both fabrics were very delicate to handle and slippery! I learned some hacks which included sandwiching the silk in-between tracing paper to help stop it slipping when cutting. Also, Lots of silk pins are a must, and some weights. Overall I had a frustrating but rewarding time creating these dresses, I love how they turned out.
