Urban Jungle

‘Urban Jungle’ is an innovative men’s knitwear collection for Autumn Winter 2020, driven primarily by New York’s architecture and the experience of living and working in New York. The overall aesthetic of this collection describes the “condense chaos”, created by the geometric patterns and contrasting layers within this dramatic cityscape. The exciting contrast between material qualities found within architecture has inspired the combination of unconventional industrial materials with the tactile with the performance properties of knitted textiles. The collection promotes the structural and fluid properties of knitwear, exploring diverse knitted structures and yarns to contrast shear with opaque and structure with drape to create strong impactful silhouettes. Sustainable and responsible design is embraced through a combination of garments knitted to shape and upcycling industrial materials such as rubber and plastic cording which depict the matt, shiny and waterproof surface qualities within the collection.
