V COLLECTION

/ v collection
THIS COLLECTION OF FOURTEEN LOOKS WAS DEVELOPED FOR PROFESSOR JOANNA BERZOWSKA’S RESEARCH PROJECT ON NEW FIBERS, CAPABLE OF PRODUCING ENERGY DRAWN FROM THE HUMAN BODY. THE PROJECT IS BASED ON FIVE MOVEMENTS; FLICK, BEND, VIBRATION, TORSION AND IMPACT. WHILE DONE IN REPETITION, THESE ACTIONS CREATE AN ENERGY IN THE FIBER. IN RESPONSE TO THE LEVEL OF ENERGY, FIBERS CAN; CHANGE COLOR, GENERATE LIGHT AND HEAT, AS WELL AS CHANGE CONSISTENCY OR VOLUME. THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THIS COLLECTION IS TO VULGARIZE THE ENTIRE PROCESS OF ENERGY CREATION IN THE FIBER; FROM THE ACTION TO THE REACTION. IN RELATION WITH THIS VISION, THE LOOKS HAVE BEEN CREATED IN PAIR, TO ILLUSTRATE AN EVOLUTION IN THE LEVELS OF ENERGY, SHOWING THE SHAPES, BEFORE AND AFTER / photo by john londono
