'IROLL IN’ is a series of fresh daily short films, documenting the sunshine and good times of the 2012 Vans Bowl-a-Rama Bondi supported by Surf Dive & Ski. The Vans Bowl-A-Rama is easily the biggest skateboard event in Australia, attracting thousands of fans and reaching millions in media impressions. Justin worked on providing content for sponsor leveraging and the pre-promotion of the event. Justin produced, shot and edited a series of fresh video’s that captured the lead up, lifestyle and sponsored parties in the week leading up to the main event, titled ‘Roll In’.
The Delivery of the project consisted of six x two minute short films that were played on Fuel TV and distributed virally; on the event FB page, sponsor websites, FB pages and athlete pages. The idea of immediacy was in full force with a time frame of 15 hours (shoot to upload), on each video to tell a fresh story that was hot on the pulse of the weeks activities. It captured a moment in time and communicated to both the endemic and non- endemic audience. They weren’t just fluff or generic hype. They communicated a message being television broadcast quality.
Justin worked on pre-production (run downs and artwork), creative design and execution (created logo’s, produced openers & animated sequences, filmed and video edited), delivery (thumbnail images, overview text/copy, FTP or vimeo upload)
