Vélo City Girl

My original blog, Vélo City Girl, was born in March 2010 when I started cycling again as an adult. VCG was initially about cycle style but evolved into an award-winning digital space to discuss broader cycling culture subjects, including diversity, representation, mental health and health & wellbeing. Responsibilities across the editing and running of Vélo City Girl included • Production of fresh and inspirational content, both written and photographic. • Curation of relevant news, events and fashion updates within the world of cycling. • Management and curation of social media across multiple channels. Vélo City Girl ran from March 2010 to June 2021. The site (velocitygirl.co.uk) is still available to view online as an archive.
