About me
Hello! I'm Jools Walker (aka LadyVelo) - a freelance writer, best-selling author, voiceover artist and an experienced broadcaster across TV, Radio and Podcasting. I started my writing career in 2010 on my award-winning blog, Vélo City Girl. Since then, I have published my first book - Back in the Frame - Cycling, belonging and finding joy on a bike - with Little, Brown and written for publications including The Guardian, Glorious Sport, Time Out London, Cycling UK, Grazia, Caffeine Magazine, and Refinery29. I like to write and create content on a range of subjects, including (but not limited to): cycling, fashion, tech, health and wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, coffee culture and mental health. I have partnered with and produced content for various global brands - some of which are listed on my website. Please do get in touch if you'd like to chat about working together.
