Vicolo Cieco Table - Furniture Design & Visualisation

The Vicolo Cieco Side Table is a contemporary design based on an ancient city. Inspiration taken from traditional Venetian architecture combined with that from more contemporary designs showcased during the Venice Biennale 2019 have both fed into the design of this piece. The Italian 'vicolo cieco' directly translates into 'dead end', drawing comparisons between the table's unusual geometry and the shapes shown in maps of Venice.
