I'm Francesca, dynamic designer/art director with 9 years creative experience and all the superpowers: a pro in the Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, and more.
At heart I'm a multidisciplinary artist with big ideas - I love artworking, illustrating, campaign creation, copy and picture-perfect concept visualisation. With a fine art background, 4 years in-agency and a whole lot more dabbling in a bit of everything, I am truly a creative chameleon. I have developed a distinctive style which I love to bring through to my work when appropriate to the brand in question.
In 2021 I won 'best pitch' by Guinness at The Creative Comeback and I was shortlisted for the 2021 and 2022 YunoJuno Sweet FA Freelancer Award in Design. I also spoke publically all about design and the freelance scene at The Creative Comeback 2022.
At the end of the day, I get my kicks by finding human and heartfelt ways to dazzle and delight.

- Cannes Film Festival - Digital Artist in ResidenceIn 2016 I began painting in Virtual Reality using HTC Vive & Google Tiltbrush. I spent months perfecting my technique, enough time to lovingly sculpt 6 unique VR worlds for the public to explore, as i became Hewlett Packard’s first Artist in Residence to exhibit at Cannes Film Festival. - TimeHop - Multi-room set/exhibition designTo celebrate the 80 years since HP’s founding, we designed and built The HP TimeHop, a multi-room exhibit filled with replicas from HP’s tech from each decade. Visitors entered the exhibit in a model of the one-car garage where founders Bill Hewlett and David Packard initially produced the first line of electronic test equipment in 1939. The rooms following this depicted the 1960s, 80s, 2000s, and the final room ‘Future Now’ consisted of the latest and yet to be released products and software th
- Vicolo Cieco Table - Furniture Design & VisualisationThe Vicolo Cieco Side Table is a contemporary design based on an ancient city. Inspiration taken from traditional Venetian architecture combined with that from more contemporary designs showcased during the Venice Biennale 2019 have both fed into the design of this piece. The Italian 'vicolo cieco' directly translates into 'dead end', drawing comparisons between the table's unusual geometry and the shapes shown in maps of Venice.

My name is Checka, I am a Freelance Senior Designer with over 8 years experience. I Have just wrapped up my last senior designer role with VMLR&R Commerce, and I recently won the 'best pitch' by Guinness at Creative Equals Comeback programme 2021, so I'm ready to hit the ground running!
I am a real multidisciplinary designer, fluent in the Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator. I create artworks, graphics, illustrations, branding designs and concepts, and I am also a dab hand in copywriting and 3D, where I feel most comfortable with Sketchup Pro & Vray to render.
I am independent and time-efficient but I also love to work collaboratively. I can lead teams as well as work within them, and perhaps the most important point, I am obsessed with design.
