Victory Vermont

The brief - Victory Vermont is a maple syrup production company that has been in it’s primitive stage for some time now. Named after the place of origin, Victory Vermont has recently acquired investments to help ramp up production. With their increase in productivity comes their need for a brand refresh, and this is where you come in.

I wanted to make something fairly traditional looking for this. I was inspired by the natural form of a maple leaf, and created a simple vector. I chose the colours from a photo of a maple forest, which came out really nicely, with a broad range of colours. I wanted the label to be badge style, that is common in old American badges and products. It gives the look of quality without even telling you that it is.
In keeping with the natural influence of the brand design, I found a mock up with a wooden lid, which I think works really nicely with the beige tone of the bottle label. I really liked the shape of the bottle, making it different to any other maple syrup brands, and it can be small, perfect for transporting it to family breakfast events, holidays and camping.
