VISIBLE ARTIST AWARD 2023

Announcing the launch of VISIBLE - the art prize created to drive meaningful change for emerging artists and under-represented artists in the UK. The award is supported by Audible and in collaboration with The National Literacy Trust and Accumulate - The Art School for the Homeless. The overall winner will be announced on 4th May 2023, with the total prize fund of £5,000 to be split between five winners. Along with the cash prize, the winning artists will be awarded mentorship from leading figures within the contemporary art world. The winning artworks will be hung in an exhibition to be held at The House of St.Barnabas, Soho. Since 1862 the House of St.Barnabus has been run as a charity to help those who have experienced homelessness. The exhibition will also include two collaborative artworks by Lakwena and David Shillinglaw, made with participants from Accumulate and inmates from HMP Grendon Springfield.
