A visual exploration of literature through plants in Turkish poetry, using the technique blind embossing.
An exploration of different types of literature through plants in poetry: Diwan Literature and Folk Literature, that belonged to the same period: Ottoman Period in Turkish Literature, in a visual approach. This part is dedicated for the Diwan Literature.The outcome is a series of unreachable, blind embossed books that refer to the meaning of ‘diwan’: a book that poets collect their poems. These notebook criticise the contemporary romance by referring to the old verses of Turkish poetry that are full of love and affection.
