Waitrose wanted to cement its position as the destination for food lovers by becoming the first UK supermarket to own and operate a cookery school. I led the concept development of interior and brand design of all public facing areas of the 500m2 flagship location in London. With a presentation to the Waitrose board only two weeks away, and preliminary M&E systems already installed on site, expectations were high and timescales were tight. The entire space is designed to reflect the communal ambience of a kitchen table. Gathering, communicating, tasting and sharing a passion for food.
