WellKid Rebrand.

  • Shelby Smyth

Brief: To create packaging for a new or existing product. IDEA With this brief, I decided that I wanted to tackle something which typically is not visually appealing. That being vitamins. Wellkid is a well known brand of multivitamins for children between the ages of 4-12 years old. However I realised that their packaging is not appealing to children. Although they are marketed toward the parents in order to buy them for their children, I felt that it was important that the packaging was appealing to children too, so that they would me more likely to take the vitamins themselves. When trying to figure out how to make this appealing to both children and adults I soon realised that by giving the project both personality and further functionality I could achieve this. I created a packaging re-brand for wellkid in which I created character based Illustrations that would be more appealing to the children, but also could function as something for the child to colour in and interact with. I maintained all of the information about the product to ensure that the parent would remain well informed about what it is they are giving their child.
