#WhatAboutUs Campaign

In conjunction with the first anniversary of lockdown, we were really proud to have created the #WhatAboutUs campaign highlighting the impact of the pandemic on babies and families. Working alongside Kindred Squared, The Parent-Infant Foundation and 200 other charities including NSPCC, Action for Children and NCT we curated a social and email campaign to raise awareness of the lack of funds for this age group. More than 600,000 new babies have been born since lockdown first started and there’s been little assessment of the risks posed to young children. The first 2 years are critical for learning, physical and mental development, the aim of the campaign was to raise public awareness of the lack of government action and exclusion for Covid catch-upfunding.
