What a question right? There is no doubt that racism exists. However, some factors contribute. In a journal article called 'The Psychology of American Racism', written by Steven O. Roberts and Michael T. Rizzo, they state that there are seven factors that contribute to racism. These are Categories, Factions, Segregation, Hierarchy, Power, Media and Passivism. ... I ask this because, even within the black community, the local authorities that have been put there to protect their people, have abused their power and have inflicted pain - in some cases, have caused unnecessary trauma.
